While Russell Wilson hasn't been released yet, the Denver Broncos gave him the go-ahead to begin meeting with teams earlier this week ahead of his official release on March 13.
The veteran quarterback is already blazing the free agency trail. Per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Wilson was in Pittsburgh Friday afternoon and is expected to meet with the Steelers.
According to The Athletic's Mark Kaboly, Dianna Russini and Charlotte Carroll, Wilson also stopped in New Jersey to meet with the New York Giants before his Steelers meeting.
The two meetings come as Wilson was also linked to the Las Vegas Raiders, who are reportedly expected to release quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo this offseason.
