It only took one goal to defeat Toronto FC at BMO Field on Friday night as FC Dallas turned to its defensive side of the game to aid in the victory.
Maxi Urruti scored the lone goal of the match in the 11th minute when he slid in to cleverly steer home an initial shot from Kellyn Acosta.
Toronto had the opportunity to tie things up shortly after when Sebastian Giovinco was brought down in the penalty area. The ensuing spot kick, however, was saved by Jesse Gonzalez who made the first of many big saves to come to protect his clean sheet in a truly astonishing performance.
