Broncos CB Pat Surtain II adds to postseason awards, named Associated Press first-team All-Pro

Pat Surtain II made it a clean sweep of postseason awards.

The second-year Broncos cornerback on Friday was named a first-team All-Pro selection by The Associated Press, marking the third major honor he’s received in the past few days. Surtain also earned first-team All-Pro honors in the first-ever NFL Players Association vote and was named a Pro Bowl Games starter last month.

Surtain, 22, wasted little time stating his case as perhaps the game’s best cornerback. Opposing teams avoided him entirely at times and only fellow first-team All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams of Las Vegas really got the better of him over an entire game.
